Services for LETS and other complementary currency systems
Complementary currency systems and local exchange and trading systems (LETS) are regional or local groups, exchanging services and goods on a complementary currency or non-monetary basis. For these organisations, we provide services bases on the system developed by the Cyclos project in collaboration with the Dutch NGO Social TRade Organization STRO.
The system is, besides LETS, targeted to other complementary currency systems and cooperations, like Barter, Timebank, trade networks like C3 (consumer commerce circuit) and CBC (commodity backed currency). Systems that combine micro finance with local currency like VLC (Valuable Local Currency) and community finance systems like ROSCA (rotating savings and credit associations) are also target groups for Cyclos.
Our aim is to provide affordable services to groups and organizations that are using or planning to use this system.
